The cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has launched a spot trading platform with a zero maker fee. This is reported in the exchange’s blog.
Spot trading on Bybit is available for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), XRP and EOS. In the future the crypto exchange will expand the list of cryptocurrencies.
Maker fee is 0%, taker fee 0.1%. Traders can withdraw cryptocurrency to external wallets.
“We are pleased to bring the liquidity and reliability that customers have come to associate with Bybit to the spot market. Our goal is to make Bybit a universal cryptocurrency platform. Spot is the foundation of the crypto market and something that will suit beginners in trading,” comments the exchange’s co-founder and CEO, Ben Zhou.
Until August 31, Russian-speaking Bybit users can receive $20 in Bitcoin-equivalent. To do so, enter promo code HELLOSPOT in the bonus center and make at least one trade on Bybit’s spot platform.
Bybit is a cryptocurrency exchange headquartered in Singapore and registered in the Virgin Islands. The platform has been operating since 2018 and serves 2.5 million users. In the first quarter of 2021, the exchange’s total trading volume exceeded $1 trillion.
Earlier in July Bybit introduced a verification procedure for withdrawals of more than two bitcoins.
