Casa raises $21 million in Series A and unveils its own API

Casa, the company that helps cryptocurrency investors manage private keys, has completed a $21 million Series A round.

The funding round was led by Acrew Capital with participation from Positive Sum, Avon Ventures, Tioga Capital, Stillmark, Castle Island Ventures, and others. The company said it closed the round back in December 2021.

The startup also unveiled its own Casa API. Chief Executive Nick Neuman described the main advantages of the solution as privacy and flexibility.

The Casa API is set to launch in summer 2022 in beta-testing mode and will allow users to view their wallet balance after connecting it to another app and to transfer assets to their address with a single button press.

Earlier in February 2021, Casa raised $4 million in a seed financing round.

Previously the startup introduced a privacy-focused Bitcoin wallet for beginners.
