Cashinout.io Introduces Cryptocurrency Payments via QR Codes through SBP

The digital wallet Cashinout.io has launched a feature for paying for goods and services in Russia using digital assets through the Fast Payment System (SBP) via QR codes. The service accepts payments in eight cryptocurrencies and converts them into fiat, according to a press release.

Users can scan the code using the built-in scanner in the mobile app, Telegram bot, or the web version of Cashinout.io. Uploading a QR code as a file or photo is also supported.

No commission is charged for QR code payments. The limit for a single transaction is 20,000 rubles.

“Our clients can use digital assets for everyday purchases: from coffee and marketplace goods to refueling cars, groceries, and restaurant bills. The solution eliminates the need for prior conversion of cryptocurrency into fiat, reducing the risk of bank card blockages,” representatives of the service comment.

They highlight the service’s particular usefulness for freelancers receiving payments in cryptocurrency, as well as crypto investors.

Users can top up their balance in rubles and withdraw funds in rubles, tenge, and euros. The service also creates virtual cards for international online payments, including overseas subscriptions.

“A virtual card can be created in a couple of seconds, linked to a phone, and used for payments worldwide — including for services unavailable in Russia,” claim Cashinout.io.

For businesses, interest-free payouts within the wallet and crypto acquiring are available.

Earlier, the State Duma Committee on Financial Markets approved a bill on the phased introduction of the digital ruble.
