Catizen Triumphs in The Open League's Third Season

The mini-application Catizen for Telegram secured first place in the App Battle competition during the third season of The Open League program, as reported in a blog by the TON Foundation.

The Catizen team also won the App Battle in the second season of The Open League.

“Congratulations to Catizen, Yescoin, SquidTG, Getgems, Fanton, TON Punks, and Tonano, who collectively received $500,000 in rewards during the third season,” the press release states.

Through the program, the TON Foundation awards developers of applications based on The Open Network (TON) blockchain with rewards in Toncoin (TON). The fourth season begins on June 12.

Catizen is a mini-game on Telegram where players breed cats and complete tasks to farm points. The project team plans to convert these points into CATI tokens in the future.

Players will receive 41% of the total CATI issuance as an airdrop. On June 6, Catizen’s strategic investors reduced their allocation in the project from 6% to 5% in favor of the community.
