Ukraine ranked fifth in the global cryptocurrency adoption index for 2023, according to data from analytical company Chainalysis.
The top four were India, Nigeria, Vietnam, and the United States. The top ten also includes the Philippines, Indonesia, Pakistan, Brazil, and Thailand.
Russia came in 13th (in 2022 it ranked ninth).
According to experts, Central and South Asia lead in the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies, although overall this trend is declining worldwide.
Back in 2022, Ukraine ranked third place in the cryptocurrency adoption index, behind Vietnam and the Philippines.
