Charles Hoskinson Proposes Partnership Between Ripple and Cardano

Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, has apologized to the XRP community and expressed his intention to establish a partnership with Ripple.

The cryptographer proposed considering the integration of the privacy-focused Midnight sidechain and the launch of the regulated stablecoin RLUSD on his curated blockchain.

As of October, the total issuance volume of the token during beta testing reached approximately $47.4 million, with around $34.8 million on XRPL and $12.6 million on Ethereum.

The conflict between Hoskinson and the XRP community arose over a conspiracy theory suggesting that the team behind Ethereum incited the SEC to attack Ripple. This allegedly led to a prolonged legal battle with the company.

Hoskinson, as a co-founder of Ethereum, rejects this claim. He also criticized the Ripple team for not warning XRP enthusiasts against spreading such allegations.

Back in May, the Cardano founder questioned whether he should apologize to his opponents after years of dispute. According to the developer, members of the XRP community distorted his comments, publicly harassed him, and called for the Cardano founder to be jailed for alleged corruption.

Earlier in September, Hoskinson described Ethereum as a dictatorship under Vitalik Buterin.

Previously, the expert suggested that Bitcoin might lose its market positions.
