Renowned American economist and professional investor Charlie Munger revealed that he has had to decline numerous invitations to cryptocurrency conferences, as he believes they are gatherings of ‘traitors’. Munger made this statement during the annual shareholders meeting of Berkshire Hathaway.

«Professional traders who have decided to engage in the crypto market are simply disgusting. I was invited to have a drink with bitcoin investors, and then I realized it was nothing more than a party of followers of Judas Iscariot,» Munger stated.
In February 2018, Munger described bitcoin as ‘rat poison’ and urged governments to ‘crush it’ with regulation.
It is worth noting that Charlie Munger’s viewpoint aligns with that of Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett, who considers buying bitcoins ‘mathematically dumb’ and sees the use of cryptocurrency as limited and associated with fraudulent schemes.
