Circle unveils payment solution for NFT marketplaces

The cryptocurrency company Circle announced a payment solution for NFT marketplaces and providers of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

The new tool will enable payments not only in cryptocurrency, but also via credit cards. Circle plans to add support for Bitcoin, Ethereum and the USDC stablecoin, as well as additional features.

What is NFT?

Earlier, the Silicon Valley venture firm Andreessen Horowitz led a financing round for the NFT marketplace OpenSea worth $23 million.

Nifty’s, a social media platform for NFT collectors and creators, attracted investments from billionaire Mark Cuban, Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin and a number of companies.

Crypto.com, the Hong Kong-based payments platform, announced its own NFT marketplace with tokens from Snoop Dogg and BossLogic.
