The chart below shows that this was a record for Coinbase Ventures.

Company representatives noted that 2022 focused on early-stage startups — projects in Web 3.0, NFT and DeFi.

«We consider ourselves one of the most active corporate venture capitalists in the world, given the number of deals,” said company representatives.
Since inception Coinbase Ventures has invested in more than 300 projects. In earlier rounds a significant share of the portfolio consisted of centralized platforms, but later came metaverses, DAO and other innovative Web3 projects, as well as cross-chain solutions.
Earlier, Coinbase Ventures invested in startups Everyrealm and Jambo.
