ConsenSys has announced a partnership between Infura, the infrastructure provider, and the Near Protocol project, according to a press release.
“The integration, which had been in closed beta for two months and has now been broadly deployed, marks Infura’s expansion beyond EVM-compatible networks,” said company representatives.
ConsenSys also noted that Near Protocol will provide developers with access to a high-performance and carbon-neutral ecosystem.
In March ConsenSys raised $450 million following a Series D funding round. Investors valued the company at $7 billion.
In April, Near Protocol developers launched the algorithmic stablecoin USN pegged to the US dollar and backed by the native NEAR token.
