The place and time of catch, delivery route and other information about seafood will be stored on the blockchain-based IBM Food Trust platform. The initiative will create a network among fishers, processors and distributors, improving supply chain efficiency, reducing fraud risks and providing consumers with credible information about the origin of the products.

In South Korea, blockchain to manage video-content copyrights
South Korea’s most populous province, Gyeonggi-do, сформировала consortium with leading telecoms KT to develop the KT GIGA Chain BaaS blockchain platform for managing video-content copyrights.
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, many artists have moved to YouTube and other video platforms to promote their content and earn income. However, copyright is poorly protected in such conditions, and copying leads to partial revenue losses.
The KT GIGA Chain BaaS being developed will ensure copyright compliance. Platform administrators will gain access to information about content creators and be able to respond swiftly to takedown requests.
The initiative will also turn performances by popular artists into non-fungible tokens, enabling content creators to earn revenue from views even on others’ channels.
