Crypto developer proposes solution to access dapps without censorship
Former Synthetix DeFi protocol developer Liam Zebedee unveiled a solution to access restricted decentralized applications (dapps) вроде Tornado Cash, bypassing censorship.
Has OFAC violated your rights?
You may be entitled to decentralization…………..

According to him, the problem is that the external interfaces of applications interact with users through a centralized DNS and servers.
The Dappnet solution from Lebedi uses the decentralized file system InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) and the domain-name service Ethereum Name Service (ENS).
The Dappnet client integrates into the browser and establishes P2P connections in a BitTorrent-like style. Users do not need to configure anything. If the responding node is blocked, another will always be found to take its place, the developer explained.
So I straight hyperfocused and built it

«We can finally have a place on the Internet that cannot be taken away from us; it does not rely on a single owner dictating what is allowed», he wrote.
According to Lebedi, for broad adoption his solution requires a number of improvements, mainly on the IPFS side. Deployment of a node needs to be simplified, development tools improved, and something like an accelerator for content distribution should be created, he noted.
«This should be one click to visit applications deployed on .eth. You connect to ENS, GitHub, pay the decentralized IPFS accelerator and boom — your dapp is available worldwide»,
On August 8 OFAC added the Tornado Cash site to the sanctions list, along with related 39 Ethereum and 6 USDC addresses for suspected money laundering of more than $7 billion.
Kraken CEO Jesse Powell called the restrictions against Tornado Cash unconstitutional, and TRM Labs analysts — a compliance challenge.
Criticism also came from U.S. Representative Tom Emmer. In his view, the restrictions on the mixer threaten privacy and innovation. He called on U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen to explain OFAC’s actions.
