Crypto startup Superdao raises $10.5 million in seed funding

Superdao, the developer of operating systems for decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), has closed a seed round of investments totaling $10.5 million.

The crypto startup’s valuation reached $160 million.

\n\n\n

The round was led by SignalFire with participation from One Block Capital, Fika Ventures, Pear Ventures, Shima Capital and private investors, including the founders of 1inch and employees of OpenSea and Coinbase.

\n\n\n

According to Russian Forbes, in October 2021, the Saint Petersburg native Yuri Lifshits launched Superdao in San Francisco. The startup’s team comprises 25 people.

\n\n\n

The funds will be used to expand the team, scale operations, and open an office in Moscow. Previously, Superdao received $1 million in a pre-seed round.

\n\n\n

The crypto startup will help create DAOs, manage investments and expenses, and launch smart contracts for financial instruments.

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

In November 2021, the Snapshot Labs raised $4 million in seed funding to develop DAO solutions.
