The cybersecurity-focused startup Hypernative has raised $9 million in a seed round.
We are ecstatic to finally unveil our revolutionary #CryptoSecOps startup, Hypernative!
After months of hard work and dedication, we are thrilled to announce our successful seed #fundraising round of $9M.https://t.co/HnQqnBOKbP— HypernativeLabs (@HypernativeLabs) January 30, 2023
The funding came from IBI, Blockdaemon, Alchemy, Borderless, CMT Digital, Nexo, and a number of angel investors.
“We saw a huge gap between existing cybersecurity tools and invested capital, so we wanted to create something that would help prevent attacks,” said co-founder Gal Sagi.
Hypernative’s first product monitors data inside and outside the network after deployment of the protocol, in real time, to forecast any potential threat. According to Sagi, this helps identify a potential issue before it arises.
Earlier in December, the cybersecurity-focused startup Cyvers attracted $8 million.
In July, the Halborn team closed a Series A round of $90 million. Lead investor was Summit Partners, with participation from Castle Island Ventures, Digital Currency Group and hedge fund Brevan Howard.
