Cypherpunk Holdings increases bitcoin holdings by disposing of Ethereum and Monero

Cypherpunk Holdings, a company listed on the Canadian stock exchange, increased its bitcoin reserves. As of June 30, 2020, net additions totalled 72,979 BTC (~$1.2 million).

Cypherpunk has increased its stake in the leading cryptocurrency by fully liquidating its Ethereum and Monero assets. The company also partially used the proceeds from a CA$505,000 placement.

As a result, Cypherpunk’s investment portfolio includes 276,478 BTC (about $4.7 million at the time of writing).

According to Bitcoin Treasuries, the Canadian firm ranks among the public companies with the largest bitcoin holdings.

Earlier the analytics software provider MicroStrategy acquired 21,454 BTC, and in September purchased a further 16,796 BTC. The value of the assets rose from $425 million to $735.2 million.

In October, Square, the payments company of Jack Dorsey invested in bitcoin, $50 million or about 1% of total assets at the end of Q2.
