DFA market in Russia reaches 4.6 billion rubles

As of mid-June, the aggregate volume of issued digital financial assets (DFA) in Russia stood at around 4.6 billion rubles. Of this, more than 45% of the total issuance was attributed to the Atomyze platform, ForkLog representatives said.

The company issued tokens worth more than 2.1 billion rubles.

The largest DFA issuance worth 1 billion rubles was conducted by the platform in February 2023 with the participation of the Moscow Credit Bank.

Atomyze leads the audience reach among all information-system operators. The platform has more than 41,000 registered participants with active trading wallets.

«Over the past year, we tokenised more than 10 asset types and continue to broaden the range of financial instruments based on sustainable assets, real estate, and debt obligations of high-quality issuers», said Ekaterina Frolovicheva, chief executive of Atomyze.

As of writing, besides Atomyze, DFA issuance licenses in Russia are held by “LightHouse”, Sberbank, Alfa-Bank and “Masterchain”.

As reported in the press, in April operators of Russian information systems issued digital financial assets totaling about 1 billion rubles.

In March 2023, Atomyze representatives said that since the tool’s launch, the total DFA issuance in Russia had reached 2 billion rubles.
