Director of 'The Bitcoin Bet' to film about Satoshi Nakamoto

Director Christopher Cannucciari and White Paper Films announced the start of work on the documentary “I Am Not Satoshi.” Funds for the film will be raised via the Republic platform built on Avalanche, Decrypt reports.

“Experts and witnesses will help us understand the events preceding Satoshi’s disappearance and the aftermath. Our aim is to tell this story before it becomes a myth,” said the director.

He intends to explore theories about the identity of the creator of the first cryptocurrency. The film will also explain why some members of the community believe that the mystery of ANБ Satoshi Nakamoto should remain unsolved.

The filmmakers intend to raise funding by selling tokens on Republic as part of Film Finance Offering — a concept developed by Ava Labs. Representatives of the latter expect that in the future other filmmakers will be able to use the platform to finance their works.
