
Dogecoin Wallet to the Moon
The Dogecoin community plans to send a physical Dogecoin wallet to the Moon. The project will be carried out as part of Astrobotic’s Peregrine Mission One mission.

The device will be placed in a special ‘Moon Capsule’ with souvenirs from around the world, including photographs, novels, and even a rock from Mount Everest.
In addition, Astrobotic has already accepted aboard the Vulcan Centaur rocket a wallet containing 1 BTC from the BitMEX exchange and a plaque bearing a copy of the Bitcoin genesis block from Bitcoin Magazine.
All of these items will be sent to the Moon on December 23, 2023. The launch will take place from Space Force Station SLC-41 at Cape Canaveral, Florida.
As a reminder, in January the Filecoin Foundation announced plans to test IPFS connectivity in space by the end of 2023, deploying the Interplanetary File System aboard a Lockheed Martin satellite IPFS-link in space,
Since 2021, Elon Musk’s SpaceX has been preparing the Doge-1 satellite launch to the Moon, funded in Dogecoin. However, the mission has yet to materialize.
