The Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana has sold its first collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) for 1885 ETH (about $6.3 million at the time of writing).

The auction of the Collezione Genesi collection took place on the NFT marketplace UNXD. Some tokens include physical clothing or jewellery.
The most expensive NFT was The Doge Crown — a gem-studded crown for 423.5 ETH (about $1.4 million). The buyer of the token was Red DAO — an organisation for collecting digital clothing and accessories.
As reported in April 2021, Vogue Business said that the Italian fashion house Gucci and several other luxury brands to issue their own NFTs.
