Donald Trump’s TRUMP Memecoin Holdings Exceed $1 Million

The value of 579,281 TRUMP memecoins held in the wallet of former U.S. President Donald Trump has surpassed $1 million, following a roughly fivefold increase in January, according to Arkham Intelligence.

He originally received $7.1K of TRUMP from the TRUMP team between August-October 2023, which is now worth over $1.07M.

The team behind the memecoin transferred the tokens to the politician’s address in several tranches between August and October 2023. At that time, the assets were valued at $7,100. With the current token price around $2, their value is approximately $1.15 million—a more than 165-fold increase from the initial valuation.

Arkham analysts identified the wallet as belonging to Trump on August 16. They linked the address to proceeds from the sale of NFTs from the former president’s collection and his financial report on owned crypto assets.

On August 19, the wallet received an initial transfer of 469,901 TRUMP, valued at approximately $5,600.

According to the analytical platform, Trump’s address holds cryptocurrencies totaling $2.65 million. In December, 1,075 ETH (~$2.4 million at the time) were withdrawn from it for sale.
