On April 10, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved in principle a draft law on issuing a digital postage stamp.

The document defines the digital stamp as a non-fungible virtual asset certifying property rights to the digital image of the postage stamp or a derivative work.
Ukrposhta announced plans to issue NFT stamps in August 2022. The first digital stamp released under martial law will be “Russian warship, go…”. Proceeds from the sale will go to the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Earlier in an interview with ForkLog, a member of the НКЦБФР spoke about regulators’ plans to test NFT projects in dedicated sandboxes.
