Dune Analytics raises $8 million for its analytics platform

The Norway-based analytics startup Dune Analytics has raised $8 million following a Series A round.

The round was led by New York-based Square Ventures, with participation from Redpoint Ventures, Dragonfly Capital and Multicoin Capital.

\n\n\n

The funds will be used to grow headcount, launch a new platform and support new blockchains.

\n\n\n

Currently the analytics platform works with data from Ethereum, Polygon, Optimism and xDAI. The developers plan to integrate all systems compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine.

\n\n\n

Most features of Dune Analytics are available for free — users can query the database and build dashboards. The paid option at $390 per month offers expanded customization, private queries and data export. Earlier in September last year, the firm attracted $2 million in seed funding. As of the latest round, total venture funding in Dune Analytics stood at $10 million.
