Elon Musk criticises Dogecoin co-founder over ‘fragment of bad code’.

Dogecoin co-founder Jackson Palmer came under criticism from Elon Musk, who had called him a fraudster the day before.

In a recent interview Palmer told how several years ago he provided Musk with a script to combat spam on Twitter. He said the billionaire couldn’t figure out how to run it, because he doesn’t know code well.

Palmer also called the head of Tesla and SpaceX a fraudster and a pretender, criticising activity in the cryptocurrency sector and his plans to acquire Twitter.

“You falsely claimed that this fragment of bad Python code would help solve the bot problem,” Musk replied under the tweet posting of the interview. “My kids wrote better code when they were 12.”

When asked which programming language is best, he replied that Python is better suited for AI and ‘most things’, JavaScript for web development, and C/C++ for high-performance applications.

Earlier in April, Musk became Twitter’s largest shareholder after acquiring 9.2% of shares for $2.89 billion.

On April 14 he proposed to buy the platform for more than $43 billion, but later halted the deal after media reported inflated Twitter audience metrics.

Nevertheless, the businessman remains determined to pursue the purchase. One of his goals is to defeat spam bots.

By the end of May Twitter shareholders filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk and the social network itself over the “chaotic process” of the company’s takeover.
