Some products on the automaker’s site can be purchased only with cryptocurrency. At this stage, buyers do not have the option to choose the form of payment.

On Tesla’s support subpage there appeared a page stating that the company accepts payment exclusively in Dogecoin. The manufacturer does not support other digital assets and emphasises that senders of incorrect transfers will lose their money.

Twitter users drew attention to Tesla testing payments in DOGE a few days ago. They discovered hidden code indicating plans to integrate cryptocurrency payments.
