The rebranding includes the launch of a new token and a platform for its exchange. Yves La Rose, head of the Vaulta Foundation, stated that the new brand signifies an expansion of access to financial services through Web3 tools.
According to him, blockchain technologies are fundamentally transforming the financial system, and Vaulta will be a significant player in this transformation.
As part of the transition, the Vaulta Banking Advisory Council will be established to integrate Web3 solutions with traditional financial systems. The council will include market experts, including representatives from Systemic Trust, Tetra, and ATB Financial.
One council member, Alexander Nelson from ATB Financial, believes that Vaulta’s move will be a crucial step in bridging traditional banking and blockchain.
Vaulta’s technological foundation will incorporate the existing EOS infrastructure: C++ architecture for smart contracts, a decentralized RAM database, and multi-chain IBC compatibility. A partnership with the exSat ecosystem will enhance Bitcoin integration into the decentralized financial model.
Vaulta has already formed strategic alliances with Ceffu, Spirit Blockchain, and Blockchain Insurance Inc. The company plans to introduce solutions in four areas: capital management, consumer payments, investment portfolios, and blockchain insurance.
Technical and partnership details will be revealed closer to the rebranding launch, scheduled for late May 2025.
On March 19, experts from SlowMist reported an increase in “address poisoning” attacks on EOS. Malicious actors send users transactions of token fractions (e.g., 0.001 EOS) to substitute destination addresses.
