Eterbase: Hackers moved stolen cryptocurrency to Binance and Huobi

Slovak bitcoin exchange Eterbase reported the initial results of the hack investigation. According to the company, a large part of the funds was moved by the hackers to Binance, Huobi, and HitBTC.

Representatives of Eterbase tracked the stolen cryptocurrency two days after the incident. The company appealed to the exchanges for help.

Binance chief Changpeng Zhao responded to the appeal. According to him, the security team had already begun addressing the matter.

“We will do everything in our power to help,” he stressed.

Earlier, on September 8, unknown hacked the cryptocurrency exchange Eterbase. The total damage exceeded $5.3 million. The hackers’ loot consisted of user funds in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, XRP, Tezos and Algorand.
