Ethena Labs Launches ENA Claim as Exchanges List Token

Ethena Labs, associated with the Ethereum-based synthetic stablecoin USDe, has opened a claim page for 750 million governance tokens, ENA. Several centralized platforms, including Binance, have listed the asset.

The developers have also announced a second season of point farming.

The mentioned 750 million ENA represent 5% of the total supply of 15 billion.

The airdrop follows the “shard campaign,” a reward program for early participants that allowed user acquisition through referral links, distributing shards (or points).

The distribution occurred proportionally to the points accumulated as of April 1.

Assets must be claimed within 30 days. Unclaimed ENA will be redistributed among all airdrop participants.

According to CoinGecko, the project’s market capitalization reached $832.2 million, ranking 122nd by market cap.

USDe is designed for passive income in the network and is not positioned as a stablecoin. Price stability is expected to be achieved through risk hedging by selling ETH using perpetual swaps.

The team also describes USDe as an “internet bond,” offering a dollar-denominated savings instrument focused on DeFi.

Back in February, Ethena Labs closed a seed funding round of $15 million led by Dragonfly and Maelstrom.

Earlier, it was reported that MakerDAO will consider setting a limit of 600 million DAI for investments in USDe through the Morpho Labs protocol.
