Ethereum NFT trading volume exceeded $23.7 billion in 2022

The trading volume of Ethereum-based non-fungible tokens (NFTs) since the start of the year has reached $23.7 billion, according to researchers at Nansen.

Weekly trading volume peaked in early May, when Yuga Labs unveiled the Otherside metaverse.

The largest turnover was among the tokens of the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection.

Ethereum significantly outperforms other ecosystems in NFT trading volume.

Earlier, Bored Ape tokens were stolen from OpenSea for several million dollars.
