Ethereum price clears $4,700 as market cap tops $3 trillion

On November 8, the price of the second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization rose to new all-time highs above $4,700. In the last 24 hours, the asset’s price rose by 4.3%, according to CoinGecko.

At the time of writing, Ethereum was trading around $4757. Its market capitalization stood at $563.6 billion.

In the last 24 hours, Bitcoin rose 6.2% and trades around $65,970. The BTC dominance index is 41.3%, ETH 18.7%.

The cryptocurrency market capitalization surpassed $3 trillion. Of the top 10 over the past 24 hours, only two assets declined in price — Binance Coin (-3.1%) and Solana (-4.1%).

On November 3, the Ethereum price reached $4639. In October, ETH outpaced Bitcoin in terms of price growth, with a 42.9% gain vs 39.9% respectively.

Goldman Sachs suggested that the Ethereum price could rise to $8000 by the end of 2021.
