Ethereum trades above $4,100

On Monday, May 10, the price of the second-largest cryptocurrency crossed the key $4,000 level.

At the time of writing, Ethereum traded at $4,133.34.

The cryptocurrency market capitalisation rose above $2.6 trillion. Bitcoin’s dominance index stood at 42.4%, Ethereum at 18.3%.

Exchange balances on Ethereum continue to decline, reducing the supply of the coin.

Earlier in April 2021, Kraken analysts envisaged Ethereum to surge to $15 000.

Fundstrat analysts forecast the second-largest cryptocurrency would rise to levels above $10 000 in 2021.
