
Fantom Foundation reports hack worth hundreds of thousands of dollars
Fantom Foundation representatives said the hack affected one of the organization’s wallets due to a zero-day vulnerability in the Google Chrome browser.

According to the developers, losses amounted to ‘hundreds of thousands of dollars’. However, most of the assets were not touched, as they are stored in cold wallets.
“We are actively monitoring the movement of the lost funds,” the representatives of the organization said.
In a conversation with The Block, Fantom Foundation co-founder Andre Cronje отметил that assets belonging to one of the employees were affected.

Earlier in July, tokens worth millions of dollars were withdrawn on the Fantom network. In particular, Beosin recorded an outflow of crypto assets worth $103 million.
