
Fidelity International secures bitcoin-ETP listing on two European exchanges
The SIX Swiss Exchange and Xetra, part of Deutsche Börse, have added a bitcoin-ETP with physical backing from Fidelity International to the listing. CoinDesk reports.
The instrument has ticker FBTC. It tracks the price of the first cryptocurrency and is available to Fidelity International’s professional clients in Europe.
Custodial services are provided by Fidelity Digital Assets.
Total Expense Ratio will be 0.75%.
Fidelity International was established in 1969 as a subsidiary of Fidelity Investments. In 1980 it became an independent investment company with assets of $812.8 billion.
In November 2021, WisdomTree announced the listing of three crypto-ETPs on SIX Swiss Exchange and Xetra.
In the same month, the German stock exchange took a similar decision regarding a ‘physical’ bitcoin-ETP by the investment company Invesco.
In December, the London-based ETC Groupannounced the listing of a Tezos-based exchange-traded product on Xetra.
