Formula 1 has registered two trademarks related to digital assets, metaverses and NFTs.
Trademark attorney Mike Kondoudis said the filings relate to the Las Vegas Grand Prix, scheduled for November 2023.
Formula One has filed 2 trademarks for LAS VEGAS STRIP CIRCUIT claiming plans for:

The corresponding documents have already been filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
According to the expert, Formula 1 is also interested in the virtual clothing, sporting equipment, financial services, currency trading, and insurance sectors.
In June 2021, the Formula 1 racing organization entered into a five-year sponsorship agreement with the cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com.
In September of the same year, the Bitcoin exchange FTX became a sponsor of the Formula One team Mercedes-AMG Petronas.
In February 2022, trading platforms Binance and Bybit announced partnerships with BWT Alpine and Oracle Red Bull Racing respectively.
In May, the cryptocurrency exchange OKX signed a multi-year deal with the British racing team McLaren F1 Team and their esports team McLaren Shadow Esports Team.
