US retailer GameStop has announced the launch of a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet.
It allows storage and transactions on the Ethereum network, including ERC-20 tokens and NFTs. The service is integrated with Ethereum layer-2 solutions. In the future, it will also enable transactions on GameStop’s NFT marketplace.
The wallet is available as a Chrome extension. In addition, the team announced an iOS app.
The developers noted that the new service is currently in beta.
The company’s shares rose in pre-market trading on the news.
Earlier in March, GameStop launched a test version of the NFT marketplace.
