GANA Payment on BNB Chain hacked for over $3.1 million.
The payment project GANA Payment on BNB Chain has been hacked, resulting in the theft of over $3.1 million by attackers. This was reported by on-chain detective ZachXBT.
According to the researcher, the hackers consolidated the stolen funds in a wallet on the Binance-linked network, exchanging part of the assets for BNB. They then sent 1140 BNB (~$1.04 million) to the crypto mixer Tornado Cash.
The remaining coins were converted by the cybercriminals into 346.8 ETH (~$1.05 million) and left on an Ethereum address.
The GANA team acknowledged the attack, emphasizing that developers have already begun an investigation in collaboration with an external blockchain security company.
