Gate Group, the parent company of the cryptocurrency exchange Gate.io, will launch a cryptocurrency Visa debit card for customers in Europe.

According to the press release, the waitlist and registration are already open.
The head of Visa’s cryptocurrency division, Kyu Sheffield, noted that the company “wants to serve as a bridge between the digital assets ecosystem, a global network of merchants and financial institutions.”
“[…] Gate Group debit card holders will have the ability to seamlessly convert and use their digital assets to pay for goods and services wherever Visa is accepted,” he added.
The company will release its product through the Lithuanian subsidiary Gate Global UAB.
Earlier crypto cards were introduced by trading platforms Blockchain.com, Huobi, Bybit and BitOasis.
