Goldman Sachs opens vice-president vacancy in digital-assets division

One of the world’s largest investment banks, Goldman Sachs, posted a vacancy for a vice-president in the London unit focused on digital assets.

The successful candidate is expected to help develop and execute the bank’s digital-assets strategy, advance blockchain adoption, and pursue “potential cryptocurrency initiatives.”

Among the requirements for the prospective vice-president of the unit are “a passion for blockchain/digital assets,” project-management experience and other qualifications.

The digital-assets team sits within Goldman Sachs’s broader International Markets division.

Earlier at Goldman Sachs allowed the issuance of its own digital currency.
