A Web3-powered digital-art platform Wild raised $7 million in a seed round of financing.

The round was led by venture firm Matrix Partners. The funds were also provided by actress Gwyneth Paltrow, LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman, Twitch’s chief operating officer Kevin Lin, and Cozomo de’ Medici. This alias is used by American rapper Snoop Dogg.
According to Wild founder Douglas Kobsa, the platform is designed to bring artists together and assist them in issuing NFTs. Artists will be able to take a specialized course on creating non-fungible tokens from leading experts in the field.

The company also unveiled a membership subscription called Wild Oasis. It provides early access to auctions and a personalized discount program.
In total, 1,000 “passes” will be minted as NFTs. 300 of them have already been distributed to artists who participated in testing the platform, consultants, investors and the founders’ team.
Wild will use the funds to develop its infrastructure and finance project participants.
Earlier it was reported that tech giant Amazon will launch a Web3 initiative related to non-fungible tokens on April 24.
In March, the livestream startup Shiller announced Snoop Dogg as a co-founder of the project alongside entrepreneur Sam Jones.
In February, the India-based Web3 startup Kratos raised $20 million at a $150 million valuation.
