On April 15, her page featured links to HOC, described as a “community-driven digital currency.” The posts were soon removed, and Powell’s team confirmed the account had been compromised.
According to them, measures to restore access were “promptly taken,” and the contentious posts were deleted.
HOC did not garner significant interest. According to DEX Screener, the token’s peak market capitalization reached $24,000. Trading volume hit $71,000 across 736 transactions.
Back in February 12, hackers compromised the X account of Zak Witkoff, co-founder of the crypto project World Liberty Financial (WLFI) associated with Donald Trump.
