Cryptocurrency holders should not remain anonymous due to the risks of such assets being used for criminal purposes. This was stated by Alexander Bastrykin, head of Russia’s Investigative Committee, according to «Российская газета».
According to him, crypto assets could be used to finance terrorism.

In the Russian Prosecutor-General’s Office, they said that norms are being prepared that would allow digital assets to be treated as the subject of a crime and seized.
