Hidden Road raises $50 million in Series A led by Castle Island Ventures and other investors

The lending and brokerage platform for institutional investors Hidden Road closed a $50 million Series A funding round. It was led by Castle Island Ventures.

Investors also included Citadel Securities, FTX Ventures, Uncorrelated Ventures, Greycroft, XBTO Humla Ventures, Wintermute, SLN Capital, Profluent Trading, Coinbase Ventures and Corner Capital.

\n\n\n\n

‘Hidden Road solves many of the problems in credit brokerage and prime brokerage related to outdated technologies, archaic workflows and conflicts of interest’, the press release said.

\n\n\n\n

The platform developed by the startup provides real-time risk management and seamless lending across a range of products and asset classes.

\n\n\n\n

Hidden Road’s lineup includes prime brokerage, clearing and financing across traditional and digital assets.

\n\n\n\n

Earlier, the CeDeFi exchange Unizen on the BNB Chain agreed to raise $200 million from Global Emerging Markets to develop the ecosystem.
