The cryptocurrency exchange HTX, in collaboration with seven blockchain projects, has launched a two-week campaign in honor of Bitcoin Pizza Day, featuring a prize pool of $200,000. This was announced in a blog post by the trading platform.
Every year on May 22, the cryptocurrency community celebrates Bitcoin Pizza Day. The occasion commemorates a landmark event in the industry: in 2010, programmer Laszlo Hanyecz purchased two Papa John’s pizzas for 10,000 BTC.
The campaign will run from May 13 to 26, 2025. HTX, in partnership with SunPump, APENFT, JUST Protocol, WINkLink, BitTorrent, Steem, and MEVerse, will offer daily gifts through the HTX app.
Draws take place daily at 05:00 (Kyiv/MSK). To participate, one must:
- read the post “HTX Celebrates Pizza Day: $200,000 Giveaway”;
- visit the K-line page of one of the participating tokens (SUN, BTT, WIN, NFT, JST, STEEM, or MEV), go to the comments section, and linger there for three seconds.
Prizes include tokens, fee discount coupons, margin interest vouchers, futures bonuses, and APY boosters.
On May 22, HTX will conduct a double giveaway totaling $100,000. Draws will occur at 05:00 and 15:00 (Kyiv/MSK).
All prizes won will be available in the user’s personal account (“My Rewards” and “Assets” sections).
Previously, HTX announced a $6 million space ticket giveaway as part of the “Mars Program” campaign. The ticket will be fully funded by HTX advisor and TRON founder Justin Sun.
