HTX DAO Launches On-Chain Voting on TRON for HTX Token Holders

On April 9, the decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) HTX DAO introduced an on-chain voting mechanism on the TRON blockchain. Now, all HTX token holders can vote on any active proposals on the DAO’s website, according to a press release.

Representatives of the HTX crypto exchange state that HTX DAO will soon expand the scope of voting—users will be able to influence the delisting of assets and the prioritization of new feature development.

If the governance model proves successful, it could serve as a benchmark for other projects attempting to combine the efficiency of centralized exchanges with the transparency and democracy of DAOs.

On-chain voting in HTX DAO operates within a three-tier governance system:

• Basic level. Governance follows the “one token, one vote” principle;
• Executive level. The HIP (HTX Improvement Proposal) standard formalizes all proposals. Each HIP is permanently recorded on the blockchain;
• Supervisory level. A committee of early participants, developers, and community representatives oversees the system’s development and conducts financial supervision.

“Voting gives HTX holders real power—they directly influence the platform’s development path by supporting proposals on asset listing or reserve fund allocation. Additionally, plans include returning part of the fees and rewards for participating in votes, which encourages long-term token holding,” HTX notes.

HTX DAO is an organization focused on creating a “financial freedom hub” and integrating DAO approaches into the exchange’s operations. Its participants can submit proposals, vote, and jointly develop the TRON and HTX ecosystem.

Earlier, HTX updated the auto-earn feature in the HTX Earn service. Once activated, users’ spot balances of over 200 cryptocurrencies are automatically subscribed to flexible earning products every hour.
