The head of the Chelyabinsk Directorate of Communications was accused of mining cryptocurrency at the workplace. This, reports the Urals Transport Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

According to investigators, the suspect installed mining equipment in a service room, using the resources of Russian Railways.

The damage from his actions amounted to 190,000 rubles.

A criminal case has been opened against the suspect for abuse of official powers. The investigation continues.
