Injective Launches Mainnet for inEVM L2 Solution

Developers of the Injective layer-one network within the Cosmos ecosystem have launched the mainnet for the inEVM L2 solution.

“inEVM allows Ethereum developers to create dapps that operate at incredibly high speeds and involve near-zero fees, while ensuring composability among WASM and EVM,” project representatives noted.

Supported by Caldera, the solution is positioned as the first Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible rollup, “capable of ensuring true composability with Cosmos and Solana.”

The initiative is part of a strategy to create Electro Chains, aimed at expanding the ecosystem of layer-two solutions and enhancing interoperability with various blockchains.

inEVM allows Ethereum developers to deploy DEX and other dapps on Injective without needing to alter the code.

“Today, Injective is one of the fastest layer-one blockchains with the lowest fees,” project representatives emphasized.

The mainnet launch was initially planned for the fourth quarter of last year.

Projects such as Celestia, Pyth, TimeSwap, Thetanauts, and LayerZero are already interacting with the new L2 solution.

Over the past 24 hours, the INJ token has risen by 13.8%. The asset ranks 37th on CoinGecko

Previously, Injective Labs launched a $150 million ecosystem support fund with participation from Pantera Capital, Jump Crypto, Kraken Ventures, Kucoin Ventures, Delphi Labs, and other venture firms.

In June, the project’s developers integrated Polygon to ensure “true DeFi composability.”

In March, the Injective team launched the Cascade interoperability solution, allowing Solana developers to deploy their applications in Cosmos.
