Investment giant Franklin Templeton opens crypto-related vacancies

The asset manager Franklin Templeton, with $1.4 trillion in assets under management, has posted crypto-related vacancies — analyst and trader.

According to the descriptions, the new hires will join the digital assets management team.

The analyst will conduct research into the most liquid and tradable crypto assets (for example, BTC and ETH). They will also liaise with portfolio managers and senior management at Franklin Templeton.

“The analyst is expected to assist in developing and managing new crypto-asset products,” the statement said.

The trader will be tasked with portfolio rebalancing, optimising cryptocurrency trading and developing trading strategies. Among the requirements for candidates is experience in derivatives and futures markets.

Earlier, the investment company and Illuminate Financial led an additional Series A financing round for Curv, the provider of infrastructure for storing cryptocurrencies.

Back in July 2021, Franklin Templeton backed Galaxy Digital’s crypto fund of funds with $33.75 million.
