Investors value Blocto’s multi-chain wallet at $80 million

The Blocto multi-chain wallet team closed its Series A financing round at a valuation of $80 million. The Block reports.

The startup did not disclose the amount raised from investors. Among them were billionaire Mark Cuban, IPX (formerly LINE FRIENDS) and 500 Global.

In 2021, Blocto raised $8 million led by Animoca Brands, with participation from CMS Holdings, Double Peak Group and Alameda Research.

The publication, citing a Blocto statement, noted that the startup’s valuation had grown eightfold. The funds raised will be used to support the wallet.

In February, the infrastructure Web3-startup Polyhedra Network attracted $10 million from Binance Labs and Polychain Capital.

Earlier, the developers of the multi-chain wallet Cypher announced the closing of a seed financing round of $4.3 million.
