Jack Dorsey: Bitcoin is the best implementation of an online currency

The Internet needs its own currency, and Bitcoin is its best implementation. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey said in an interview with Reuters.

“The Internet is governed by consensus and created by everyone. Bitcoin has the same model; it is built on the Internet,” he said.

For mass adoption, Bitcoin transactions must become fast and efficient, and the cryptocurrency itself must be intuitive, added Dorsey:

“People must understand how and for what they can use Bitcoin, and where they can buy it. My aim is to make cryptocurrency accessible to people.”

Dorsey first spoke of Bitcoin as a \”single global currency of the Internet\” during testimony before the U.S. Congress in February 2019.

Earlier, Square offered cryptocurrency companies not to hide their developments from the community and created the Cryptocurrency Open Patent Alliance (COPA).
