Jamie Dimon, the head of JPMorgan, confirmed that the bank’s clients are interested in Bitcoin, although he himself remains skeptical about the digital asset. He заявил at the WSJ CEO Council summit.
«I am not a proponent of Bitcoin. It does not excite me and does not interest me», said Dimon.
However, he acknowledged that he diverges in opinion from clients:
«On the other hand, they are interested, and I’m not telling them what to do,»
Earlier, JPMorgan’s CEO had repeatedly criticised the cryptocurrency, vowed to fire employees trading digital assets, and called Bitcoin investors fools.

«Blockchain is real, we use it,» Dimon noted.
Earlier, JPMorgan, together with DBS Bank and Temasek of Singapore, announced the development of an industry platform based on DLT technology for interbank payments, trading and settlements in foreign currency.
