According to the victim, on September 27 unknowns dragged him from the car, put a mask on, tied him up and kept him for a day in an unknown location. The kidnappers forced him to unlock the iPhone, obtained two-factor authentication codes for Binance and transferred the funds to their wallets.
In total, the criminals stole about $523,000 in USDT. According to the victim, this was almost all of his savings.
On the second night of detention, the attackers suffocated him and subsequently \”threw him into the forest without clothes, hidden under a pile of branches.\”
\u201cFortunately, because the kidnappers were administering sedatives to me at random, they could not check my heartbeat and thought I was dead,\u201d the victim said.

The victim told ForkLog that he cannot comment at the moment, as doing so could interfere with the investigation.
Earlier this June, the Moscow court found the perpetrators guilty of planning an attack on a businessman in an attempt to seize his cryptocurrency.
